The Aniva Fire and Rescue Unit received new rescue tools from Sakhalin Energy and Starstroy. This is a set of hydraulic equipment "Krug-1C" produced by CJSC "Enerpred", which is designed to rescue people from confined spaces. Its main advantage - and this was noted with satisfaction by the employees of the fire and rescue department - is ease of handling and low weight. This is important, especially if you have to work in a multi-storey building. Despite its compactness, with the help of "Krug-1C" you can do a lot: to bite the rods of steel gratings or fittings, to squeeze out a metal door, to lift a collapsed slab, to open a twisted car. It is not without reason that such equipment is recommended by the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
Mayor of Aniva region Nikolay Petrov noted that Aniva highway, especially in summer, is a very busy transport highway. Therefore, road accidents are far from uncommon. Since the fire and rescue unit works in close contact with the traffic police, it will be possible to save more than one human life with the help of new equipment.
Firefighter Dmitry Kovalchuk recalled a recent incident when he and his colleagues had to open the metal door of an apartment that had accidentally slammed shut, where a three-year-old child remained. “I had to tinker, because there was nothing to pry on the door with the help of a crowbar,” says Dmitry, “the child is crying, the parents are worried. And if we were already armed with new tools, the door would be opened in five minutes. "
According to Vitaly Zagorodny, Sakhalin Energy's PR specialist, this project was not born on paper. In this case, the starting point was the case in the Smirnykhovsky district, when, in a collision of several cars, one of the victims had to be removed from the mangled body of the car for several hours, which almost led to a tragedy. Therefore, it was decided to purchase equipment. Sakhalin Energy and Starstroy have already transferred such kits to Tymovskiy, Smirnykhovskiy, Poronayskiy and Makarovskiy districts.
