The 1st international exhibition of technologies, equipment, tooling, tools and services for various industries and housing and communal services, industrial automation and non-destructive testing "Techmashexpo-2008" finished its work last Friday. The exhibition was held in Irkutsk from 16 to 19 September on the territory of the SibExpoCentre exhibition complex.

The exhibition was held within the framework of the V Baikal Economic Forum (BEF). On September 16, three exhibitions started working simultaneously: “Siberian forest management. Woodworking "," Siberian Subsurface Use "and" Techmashexpo ". At the grand opening, Deputy Governor of the Irkutsk Region Vladimir Pashkov noted that the Tehmashexpo exhibition presented for the first time is a particularly significant event. More than 30 machine-building enterprises took part in the exhibition.

“This exhibition testifies to the great importance of the machine-building complex in the development of the economy not only of Siberia and the Far East, but of the entire Russian Federation,” says Sergey Chemezov, General Director of the State Corporation “Russian Technologies”, Chairman of the Union of Machine-Builders of Russia, in his greeting to the exhibition. “The modern competitive mechanical engineering products presented today confirm the high potential of the industry in the development of high technologies”.

In the midst of the first day of the exhibition, the acting governor of the Irkutsk region, Igor Esipovsky, visited it. The head of the region examined most of the stands. The presentation of the Enerpred company for Igor Esipovsky was made by its General Director Sergey Vladimirovich Kucherenko.

Our exposition, which presented a wide range of hydraulic equipment, attracted a lot of attention from the visitors of the exhibition. Among them were residents and guests of the city, mainly representatives of technical and supply departments of manufacturing enterprises of Russia: VostSibZhaso, SanEko, Siberia Export Les, Bratskenergoremont and many others. All visitors were given a warm welcome. At the negotiating table, under a cup of coffee, plans and prospects of cooperation with old and new partners of Enerpred CJSC were discussed.

The work of cutting tools and tools for threaded connections was demonstrated at a specially prepared exhibition stand. Also, a specially modeled stand made it possible to demonstrate the operation of the flange spreader. The work demonstrated hydraulic cylinders and jacks. A wide range of hydraulic equipment and tools is presented.

In the exhibition area the following hydraulic tools were presented in a wide range:

Strippers;
Hydraulic pipe benders;
Hydraulic pumps;
Pumping stations;
Hydraulic tool accessories.

Also for the first time was presented the latest development of the KRUG-2 hydraulic rescue tool (universal hydraulic manual set). The work of most of the exhibitors was demonstrated at a specially prepared stand and platform. The main attention of visitors, mainly representatives of the energy and machine-building industries, attracted the attention of jacks, pullers, cutting tools.

The need to organize an exhibition of such a focus has been long overdue, - says Andrey Shapovalov, General Director of Sibexpocentre. - The Irkutsk Region is not only a mining region and a supplier of various types of raw materials to Russian and foreign markets. A powerful processing industry is currently being created on Siberian soil with the release of the latest types of products in demand in the world.

Within the framework of the Techmashexpo exhibition, a round table "Strategy for the development of mechanical engineering of the Irkutsk region until 2020", a meeting of members of the IRO of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia were held.

According to the results of the exhibition, the company "Enerpred" was awarded a medal and received a diploma for the relevance and competitiveness of the materials, services, machinery, technologies, equipment and the high level of work of the personnel at the exhibition.
